  August 25, 2008 Babb Lumber Company announces that we have added production of Wolmanized Outdoor Treated Wood type CA-C with Stabilyzr additive in Ringgold Plant #2 for above ground applications. This new product will be distributed from both our Ringgold, GA and Vincennes, IN distribution yards. The Stabilyzer additive minimizes the tendency of treated wood to warp, twist, and check as it dries. Stabilyzr will reduce discards on retail yards and reduce returns and complaints from deck installations. The Stabilyzr product is a premium product and should be specified for deck materials.
