Dear Friends,
I was raised to believe
“If you don’t vote, you
have no right to complain.” But the power to vote has little
meaning
when there is only one name on the ballot. I put my own name on
the District 3
ballot to ensure that my neighbors would have a choice when they go to
the
polls this November. This election will not be decided by a
committee in a
backroom, but right in the polling booths. This fall, the people
of District 3
will have a choice.
In the last year,
Georgia
experienced the second
largest “newly unemployed” increase ever.
Georgia
now has the highest
rate of
foreclosures in the country. Our schools are failing, our health
care system
is in crisis, and our children are suffering.
We have an opportunity to
make
Georgia
great again. I need your
help to communicate to voters that I am the candidate who will look out
for the
hardworking citizens of
Georgia
rather than catering to special interest groups and big business. For this reason, I am not accepting donations from Political Action Committees (PACs) or from large corporations outside our district. I want my election to be clean and owing to no one except the citizens in the district I serve.
As a citizen candidate, I
am committed to the working people
of
Georgia
.
I will espouse sound economic opportunities, defend the HOPE
scholarship from
further raiding and work to make our educational dollars more
effective. I
will fight for
Georgia
’s
children, to give each one adequate health care, a sound education, and
opportunities for the future.
As you explore this
website, you will discover who I am and
why I am fighting for a chance to make a difference in our State
House. If you
have questions, or if there is something I can help you with, please
