Babb Lumber Company

Warranty

Almost all treated wood products, including Babb Treated Wood Products, are backed by warranties from the chemical supplier. Unfortunately these warranties come with two pages of exclusions and often apply only to the original purchaser, become void upon re-sale of the property, and require extensive paperwork documenting the purchase. Babb Treated Wood Products are covered by a simple no-nonsense warranty from Babb Lumber Company. The Babb Warranty is so simple that we can say it in one sentence:

Babb Treated Wood Products are warranted for 30 years against decay or insect damage and replacement wood will be provided for any pieces that fail due to decay or insect damage.

The Babb Warranty applies to the original purchaser and all subsequent owners. A warranty claim requires only that it can be established by purchase record or end tag that the wood was supplied by Babb. A representative from Babb Lumber will inspect the claim and arrange for delivery of replacement products to the jobsite. The Babb Warranty covers Babb products only and does not cover installation costs.

The extension of the Babb Warranty to subsequent owners and the fact that Babb Treated Wood Products are AWPA Standards combine to protect and increase the long term value of your home.
